The 22nd Annual Brown University Spring Thaw Powwow is on Saturday April 12th 2025!
Founded in 2004, the Ivy Native Conference is a bi-annual, student-led gathering that unites Native students from all eight Ivy League schools and neighboring universities. Together, we engage in vital conversations focused on Indigenous experiences and themes. After last hosting in 2019, Brown is proud and honored to welcome this powerful event back to campus this year!
This year's theme, Indigenous Resistance and Activism, will guide a four-day summit, featuring six Indigenous activists, scholars, and artists. These speakers will share their experiences and insights on their challenges and how they have worked to create change within their communities. Native communities face challenges that force us to become activists in many aspects. This conference will support Indigenous students in finding their voice and empower them to be leaders within their communities.
Registration for the conference has now closed.
